So it is no suprise that he has strong views about the direction the Arts are taking. In 'Art or Artifice' he explores the idea of Canadian philosopher JF Martel - that the Arts are in danger of sliding down a commercial precipice.

In conversation

Conversations between Richard Demarco and leading figures. Ranging from political pundit, and painter, Andrew Marr to reformed killer, Jimmy Boyle. These are insightful conversations which avoid tabloid simplicities and get to the heart of the matter.
